OUR NEIGHBORHOOD SPECIALISTS
Clare Banog, Community Specialist — Whidbey Island Communities. 360-661-3689
Clare moved to Whidbey Island from Portland, OR in February of 2006, specifically to become the Fairway Point Representative for Landed Gentry. Her background in corporate culture has led her to appreciate the hands-on experience of working with a family owned and locally operated business. “The Gentry family’s personal involvement is a great advantage, both to me as a rep, and to our customers,” she says. “They are right there on the pulse of things — to listen to the customer, to solve problems, to make the process go smoothly. If you need to talk to someone, Brian or Kendra are available, and you don’t have to track down an elusive executive somewhere in New York or Los Angeles!”
Island life has a definite appeal to Clare, and she understands the appeal it has for her clients at Fairway Point. She enjoys the opportunity to work with a variety of age groups, from the destination retirees in Oakmont, to the families in Baywood and Castle Pines. “It’s so much fun working with people who are building a home for the first time. I find it very satisfying to be a part of that process, and to make it fun and exciting for the homeowners.”

Annie Steiner: Sales Assistant, Big Fir & Montreaux. 360-661-3215

Annie has first hand experience in purchasing a home from Landed Gentry – she’s lived in Stonebridge, a Landed Gentry Community, since 2003.
"It’s the quality of Landed Gentry homes that makes them different than other builders I’ve known," she says. "That, and the personal contact between the company and the clients."
She gets to be on the other side of that personal attention now that she works as a Sales Assistant for the company.
"I love meeting all the different and wonderful people, and then showing them our beautiful homes. It’s a great job, and a great company to work for!"
Annie represents the communities of Big Fir, Aspen Lane, and Montreaux.

Gregg Murphy, Community Specialist — Montreaux and Big Fir. 360-661-1490
Gregg believes that Landed Gentry Homes and Communities has a real vision for the future, and a commitment to their community that matches his own. He has been a Sales Associate with them since 2004, and now represents the Big Fir neighborhood.
Having built his own home, Gregg has experience with the process, and appreciates the high quality of Landed Gentry’s homes and their customer service. “Landed Gentry knows quality,” he says, “and that’s what attracted me to working with them. They have a drive and a vision for the future that really appeals to me.”
Gregg moved to Mount Vernon from Seattle in the early ‘90s to get away from the hectic pace of big city life. Like the Gentry family, he has strong ties to his community, from being on the Board of Directors of the Realtor’s Association, to being a Cub Scout Den Leader, to being active in his local church.
Working with the 55+ clientele at Big Fir is also very satisfying for Gregg. “These folks know what they want, and there’s a level of respect there that is just great,” he says. “I really enjoy helping them find the home that works for them.”

Candace Butler: Sales Assistant, Fairway Point. 360-661-2129
Candace’s favorite thing about her job as a Landed Gentry Sales Assistant is getting to be present at what she calls the “Wow Moment”.
“I often have the opportunity to walk people through a Landed Gentry home for the first time, as customers react to the quality and craftsmanship so evident throughout the homes,” she says. “It’s great!”
She also enjoys working for a uniquely customer-oriented company that builds homes and neighborhoods to exacting standards of beauty and quality.
“The customer is involved in the process right from the start, personalizing their homes to reflect their preferences and tastes,” said Candace. “The people who choose a Landed Gentry home are never just a number to us. We get to know them — we even get to know their dogs!”
Candace represents the Aspen Lane Collection in Burlington, and the Fairway Point Collections in Oak Harbor.
